The Wild Walk of Fame Bookcase
Storybooks for animal fans
If you've ever listened to an episode of The Wild Walk of Fame Podcast then you'll know that I like to end each episode with some animal themed book recomendations.
I do this because I love reading myself and story time with my children is one of my favourite times of the day! Plus I think it is important to help young children develop a love for reading and story telling from a young age.
There's a ton of stats out there that will tell you why reading has a huge beneficiary impact on a child's development and success in life.
Oh and then there's the animals of course! What better way to capture imaginations than through stories? The podcast is all about sparking an interest and helping grow knowledge around lots of weird and wonderful species from around the world. Extending that with ways you can further grow a love for which ever animal is in the spotlight seems like a very natural and easy way to give you a tool you can weave into your day at home.
So, rather than the books recommendations sitting on the airwaves in the podcast I thought it would be helpful to add them to a place on the website where you can access a library of animal themed titles to look out for at the library, your local charity shop or your favourite independent bookseller. (oh ok and Amazon! But don't forget World Of Books where you can buy second hand online ok?)
