How long will it take to ship my order?

We aim to ship items within 2-4 days of when you place it, depending on if it is over the weekend. You will receive a dispatch notification via email or text message depending on what details you added at the checkout. We are a small family business juggling life and kids so sometimes it takes a little longer so please get in touch if you're worried about anything at all.

Can I cancel my order?

We completely get it, we change our minds too! You have a 24 hour window to cancel your order so just drop us a line at and we'll get on to it straight away.

My order is urgent, I need it quickly! What can I do?

Please send us an email at with your order number and we will see what we can do to get it to you as quickly as possible.

We do offer a fully tracked courier service if you'd like to be able to track your items. Simply choose that option at the checkout. We aim to ship these orders as a priority.

Help! I noticed a typo in my address

If you spot anything wrong in your order please contact us as soon as possible. Once items have been dispatched sadly there is nothing we will be able to do unless a parcel is returned to us. 

Shipping, Returns & Exchanges

We use Royal Mail and courier services. You’ll be asked to select a delivery method during checkout. You'll see the cost before you pay so you can change your mind.

My order has arrived damaged

Firstly, we're really sorry. This doesn't happen often and is never the experience we hope you have with The Little Black & White Book Project.

If you are in any way dissatisfied with the condition your order arrives in, please do email us and we will get onto it straight away.

What is the shipping schedule?

Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email or SMS (depemding on the details you added at the checkout) letting you know that our fulfillment team (aka me!) has received your order.

Once your order is fulfilled, you will receive a notification to say it is on your way and tracking information if you opted for courier delivery.

Please note we do not provide tracking numbers for standard shipping.

Shipping fees are non-refundable in the case of returns.

Can I return or exchange my items once I've received them?

As long as your items are returned to us in saleable condition (i.e. no damage, marks or scratches) we will be happy to provide a refund or exchange within 30 days of the original order date.

We regret we cannot refund shipping costs for either the original shipment or the return.

Do you ship overseas?

Currently we can only ship to a certain number of countries due to compliance and trade legislation.

General information

Do you offer gift wrap?

Yes! There is an option at the checkout for £3.50 to add this in along with a gift message.

I don't need gift wrap but I would like a gift message

You can add this for free when you check out.

Do you include invoices in the orders?

We don't include any paperwork that includes the cost of your items, just a packing slip with the billing details and shipping details and items chosen.

So if you are sending as a gift, no fear, the recipient won't know what you've spent on them! If you would like us to leave the packing slip out, email us with your order number or pop it in the comments box at the checkout. 

Invoices are recieved digitally when you submit and pay for your order.

Is your packaging plastic free?

Yes! We are proud that only use plastic free packaging for all of our orders. Please bear this in mind if you ask your postie to leave parcels in a safe space...they aren't waterproof.
