All you need is:
• Print out of the free download
• a wooden spoon or a stick
• bluetack
• Scissors
How to make a story spoon
Cut out the animal pictures that you’d like to use for your spoons, following the dotted lines to make an oval.
Take a little blob of bluetack and attach to one side of the spoon. Then take one of the pictures and stick to the bluetack. Voila! One story spoon made quicker than you can say ‘the end’
Try sticking another picture to the other side to make it double sided! And pair with your favourite books to create a story experience and bring the animals to life for your little one.
Super easy sensory play time you can make at home!
Don’t worry if you don’t have a wooden spoon you could use a stick, a cardboard tube, a straw…anything that sort of shape really. I picked up a pack of 4 wooden spoons from Hobbycraft for just a few pounds.
